It is a pleasure, and very honored to put my name forward for Councillor Riverside South-Findlay Creek Ward in the City of Ottawa's Municipal Elections on Monday, October 24th, 2022.
This is a very important election in the history of our city. There are many issues that need to be addressed, such as city spending which will affect our future, the expansion of LRT and the diverse impact it is having on our community.

After speaking with the residents of Riverside South and Findlay creek, many of you echoed major concerns about the ambulance response time (over 1000 Code Zero's - no ambulances available) and lack of hospitals in our growing community. Furthermore, we can increase police presence and expedite the enhancement of our roads (Expedite 4 lane roads, restructure Bank and Leitrim intersection)

Our community is in dire need of a recreational facility that services both Riverside South and Findlay Creek. The plans need to be prioritized where indoor and outdoor activities can resume at anytime during the year. Our children/youth will not only benefit from this, the community as a whole will come together!

For years, I have served as a useful source of motivation, help or advice. I finally decided to own that role and be intentional about it. When individuals come together in support of a shared goal, the community becomes empowered and the success of collective action is elevated.
